JAMMU, Sept 15: Jammu Tawi railway station will implement revised passenger entry and exit arrangements from September 16 in view of the ongoing redevelopment work, railway officials said on Monday.
Under the new arrangement, passengers will enter the station from the Platform No. 1 side, while passengers deboarding trains after completing their journey will exit through the Narwal side, officials said.
However, if a train arrives at Platform No. 1, family members and relatives accompanying passengers for drop-off will also be allowed to exit from the Platform No. 1 side, they added.
The revised arrangements have been put in place to facilitate the smooth movement of passengers amid the ongoing redevelopment of the railway station.
