CM Omar Abdullah to Visit Pulwama, Review Development Projects Worth ₹86 Crore

PULWAMA, SEPT 16: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is scheduled to visit Pulwama district on Wednesday to review ongoing developmental works and assess the progress of key projects being implemented across the district.

During the visit, the Chief Minister is expected to hold a detailed review of various development initiatives, with emphasis on the pace of execution, timely completion of ongoing works and implementation of projects aimed at improving public infrastructure and essential services.

Developmental projects worth around ₹86 crore are scheduled to be dedicated to the people of Pulwama during the visit. The projects are aimed at strengthening infrastructure and improving public facilities and services across the district.

District administration and concerned departments are expected to brief the Chief Minister on the status of major ongoing projects, their implementation timelines and issues affecting their execution.

The visit also comes amid the administration's emphasis on completing development works within stipulated timelines and improving the delivery of government services at the grassroots level.

Omar Abdullah is expected to review implementation challenges with senior officers and assess measures required to ensure that sanctioned projects progress without unnecessary delays.
